So this hasn't been the best week for weight loss but given how good I'm starting to look and how strong I feel I'm not even upset about it. Plus, it was Pascha week (and I did great staying low carb and not cheating) and I've been so hungry this week but I've eaten more calories than I should have. Hopefully next week will show a better loss!
One of the things I'm going to change this week is to start focusing on more protein and less fat while staying on keto but without adding protein shakes! I'm looking at more "epic" salads, veggies, chicken, shrimp... etc.
The more I lose the slower the weight loss is and the more fat you eat, the more fat your body has to burn through to get to the fat on your body and I still have a ton of belly fat to get through so less fat could be really helpful for that!
I'm still going to keep it at keto levels, I just want to cut back on it and choose my foods more carefully (plus I desperately need to eat veggies) and I seriously need more protein for the amount of working out I do!
According to my keto macro calculator, my fat intake should be anywhere between 50-116 grams and my protein should be anywhere between 55-91 grams. I'm always at the lowest end for protein and highest end for fat so I'm going to try and flip that and see what happens. Maybe my insane hunger will calm down that way too.
Other than that everything else is staying the same.
Also, I have a private yoga lesson in my home tomorrow evening to go over my yoga lineup and just make sure I'm doing the poses correctly and I'm really looking forward to that! Plus tomorrow is 75 days cheat free so I'll be posting about that as well!
