One Week on Track...
... and I'm feeling great!
The good feelings kicked in at some point in time yesterday (so day 6) and now I have energy, I'm not sleepy or foggy, for the first time in a while I can move my fingers without any joint pain, my headaches are 90% better, I'm barely feeling any fibromyalgia pain and I'm not down about not eating carbs. Actually, I'm not even craving carbs at this time (that also stopped sometime yesterday). Sure, a pizza sounds pretty good but it's not calling out to me and I can tell myself, "no, no pizza" and still feeling happy and upbeat.
I haven't been on the scale yet and I don't plan to get on until my first weigh-in on Friday, which is also when I'll take my measurements again, so I'm hoping for a decent number but we'll see what happens.
I also started the January yoga challenge and since we took down the Christmas tree and rearranged a little I have a new, much more organized area to do my poses in so I'm really excited about that. I plan on going back to posting my week of yoga poses on Sunday's like I used to.
The only thing missing now are my workouts and I'm really hopeful that I can start them this week. My back twinges where I pulled it a couple of days ago but it's not a major pain and I'm resting it today and probably putting some heat on it.
I've been working really hard on my at-home Push/Pull/Legs/Abs A-G workout plan using everything I've learned as a trainer and from my trainer and I think I have a really great workout in front of me. I just need to start it.
Every once in a while I look at my photos from last Christmas and this spring and get really, really sad about how much weight I regained and how long it will take me to get back to that but then I remind myself that this is a life-long journey for me and the time will pass whether or not I'm working on making myself healthier, fitter and stronger.
This is going to be my year to hit all my health and fitness goals, I just know it!
